Since the director chose a 1920’s vibe, wanting an emphasis on the curtains, we chose to use tube lights on each side of the gold curtain to make it more shiny and emphasised. The tube lights really created a nice light on the actor as well.

We used a large Apurture Nova P300c, bounced off the ceiling to create a nice overhead ambience.

And for the fun part- we used an Aputure 600x Pro with a spotlight lens to create the spotlight. For the intro, I stood on the light stand to move the 600x around manually.
